A Facebook Page Is NOT A Domain.

I’m always amazed at people who think that they own their facebook page. So, I wanted to reach out to those who actually think in their mind that posting certain stories, liking and sharing stories are not their property. In fact, anyone can post or repost content on your page. Because you do not own it. You simply occupy a piece of the domain that is own by Mark Z.

God gave us a clear message and wants us as human beings, especially Christians, to seek ye first the kingdom of heaven. Seek his kingdom and all these other things will be added to you. (Matthew 6:33, Luke 12:31) Seek what God has first! His dominion. His domain. His KINGDOM.

Please notice that two of the synonyms of kingdom are “Domain” and “Dominion.”

I recently did a google search on one of my friends to find out what the web knows about him. I found that there were 5 criminals with the same name. Two of them are serving time. My friend wasn’t even found in the facebook pages. Why? Because, he has no authority over that particular page. He, like many folks have no dominion over “their” face book page. They have no authority.

The fact is that you don’t control very much at all on face book. Those ads you see on the right side of your face book page? People pay for those according to the things you like.

 What is your domain?

When people search for you what do they find? If you have a popular name like Robert Dawson they may find an artist, or another musician. That’s why I stress to people to get their own domain name and brand themselves, then let Google know who you are. I brand “DawsonsArk” which I own the .ws, .info, and .org and I’m able to have authority over those domains and control the content. I allow people to share my domains using a face book like button.

I’ve branded my family name “Dawson” and my KING to my family name. Ark stands for “A Risen King” and together completes a three fold chord that can not be easily broke.

I use these domains to teach others how to seek ye first the kingdom online by having authority and dominion over their kingdom that God has given them. The kingdom that is at hand! (Mark 1:15)

Your domain should be your name or have your name in it. Then, if and when people search for you they will find the content that you have dominion over on the entire domain. If you want to share your religion, your belief, your dreams, goals and vision you control it. You have authority over it.
