Who Is Robert Dawson?

My Name Is Robert Dawson

I’d like to be able to tell you that I’ve always had a good easy life and that everything I’ve ever done has been a success. The real truth is that I have failed many times. I have lost everything and started over with nothing.
I’ve had some success with some things and then realize that it wasn’t worth the trouble to continue. I’ve invested in things that failed. I’ve started businesses and not make a penny in profit.
I’ve listened to a lot of the motivational speakers and even bought their materials. I’ve went through the fire so to speak. And come out scorched.
I’ve believed in the awesome power of God Almighty to bring prosperity to me just to open my wallet and see that is was as dry as it was before. Yes, I have been there and done that. I’ve given money to Churches and charity’s hoping that by my giving it would speed up my own blessings.

What Do I Do Now?

Yes, I’ve even said that and wondered why I wasn’t getting what I thought I needed or deserved. After all, I’m positive about life. I inspire others. I plan my work then work my plan. But, what is it that I do now that I never did before? What changed and when did it change?
“I stopped allowing negative people in!”
In 2000 I chose to separate myself from everything negative that was affecting my life. I moved out west and started all over again with absolutely nothing except the knowledge and understanding that I had obtained.  I left everything and everyone that had been negative. The good people that told me I couldn’t do certain things? The friends that stood around with their heads in their hands doing nothing I left them. And even the things that I was doing that had been holding me back.
I began to walk away from anything negative and/ or anyone negative. Even family, I didn’t tell them where I was going or anything simply because they were the root of my problem. I knew that they would want to drag me down while telling me that they love me. I didn’t call them and talk with them because they didn’t want to hear me before so I didn’t have anything to say to them.
I didn’t and still don’t talk to those who are negative. I’ll say hello and even listen to them for a minute now. But, it goes through one ear and out the other. I don’t allow it to affect my heart and mind. I stand on one fact and one fact alone.
“If you think that you can? You are right. If you think that you can not? We can not be friends. Period.”
It’s very simple for me to NOT cast my pearls before the swine. Why? Because I know who will trample my pearl into the mud by the words that they speak. When I hear negative now, I simply turn away from it. No matter what it is, it’s not worth me returning to that way of thinking and losing what I have.
Freedom to earn more than I ever dreamed, Freedom to go anywhere I choose, Freedom to live the life that God intended in the first place. Financial freedom. And Time freedom.
Now, please understand that I am not suggesting that you relocate or that you burn any bridges. Not at all. But, what I do suggest is that you be very careful about what you allow in. Because what you allow in will eventually come out. If you allow positive in, positive will come out. Also, if you allow negative in, negative will eventually begin to come out.
Not everyone will want to help you. Not everyone will be interested in your vision or dreams. What I do now is simply look for those who do meet my criteria. Being positive about your own goals, vision, and/ or your dream! If you are then you and I should get along very well.
Until next time, I’m glad that you are here and I hope that you have been inspired to do more today than you did yesterday with joy in your heart.
Sincerely,
Robert Dawson, CEO
