Did You Get What You Wanted Yesterday?

It Was Pleasant For Grandma

That’s what she said this morning. That Christmas day with most of her grandchildren that came to visit. So, I guess that every one of my friends and family got the things they wanted for Christmas.
I saw new shoes and heard about the new video games. And, all in all she’s right. And Carol’s Carrot Cake was better than it’s ever been if you ask me.
Every one helped themselves to the food and the cleaning up afterwards. More gifts were exchanged and hugs were given freely. Pictures were taken and everyone seemed to be happy.
I listened to the stories and shared some myself. Remembering when there was snow on the ground for Christmas. Used to be?  This year there was none.
I even heard about how bad the economy is and how this country has been getting worse while games were being played on a new notepad. Yes, I was amazed. They hold the key in their hands and do nothing but play games?
It was pleasant for grandma.
For me to suggest that they use the technology they hold in their hands to do God’s work in these last days? It seems to offend them. Some don’t even go to church or ask Jesus for the wisdom to create anything. Some go to church buildings and support their favorite preachers and ministries with all they have?
When it comes to working together as a team having one primary goal in common is crucial. Each “One” has to know what the purpose is. On Christmas day 2011 it was about making it pleasant for Grandma Margaret.
I hope that your day was as blessed as mine.
