Job vs. Income Oppotunity | NetDivvy

Job vs. Income Oppotunity | NetDivvy
The majority of people in the United States have been trained since their youth to look at work in one “inside the box” view. Get a job working for someone else then at the end of the pay period the boss will give you some of the company’s profits.

I want to explain to you how I look at work. Not to change your thinking or convince you of anything. Just to give you an idea of the work being done today is not the same as 20 years ago. Work for me is to create my own business. Work for myself because I like working for me. Work is performing a certain task that needs to be done to make my business grow on a daily basis and that applies to any company. That’s what you do at a job.

Income Opportunities come in many forms. A painter sells his talents and gifts of painting to a home owner with the hopes of painting the owners home generating a profit for his company. The future of his work depends on how well he sells his ability. Up to the point of the home owner agreeing to hire him for the work, the painter looks at the selling aspect as an Income Opportunity. A chance for him to work and make money. But, was he working to get the job? Yes. Was he working while he was looking for the house to paint? Yes.

Online Business has the same concept without the physical work involved. A company will hire people to perform tasks for the good of the company then pay them for their work. If the company doesn’t make money people loose their jobs. Then they’ll look for another income opportunity and usually spend money to get another job.

A job costs just as much today, if not more than an online income opportunity. With gas prices, food prices and the economy the way it is, it’s getting more expensive to have a job. In fact in the past five years having a job is not getting very profitable. That’s not to mention the travel time it takes to get to and from work?

So, let’s take a look at some of the monthly costs of having and keeping a good job?
  1. The average employee spends $65 per week in fuel.
  2. The average employee spends $35 per week in food.
  3. The average employee spends 1hr. 15min. travel to and from work per day.
That equals $260 per month in fuel, $140 in food and 25 hours in travel time. That’s $400 per month to keep the job! And you can never get the travel time back. That’s lost time that you don’t get paid for.

I’m going to show you what it costs for me to own and operate my home business for one month.
  1. Fuel costs $0
  2. Food costs $0
  3. Travel time 0
Because my business is home based there are no out of pocket expenses for fuel and lunch. No travel time, so I get to work faster because I’m home already. I’m never late because I can set my own schedule. My boss is never in a fowl mood so I don’t have to worry about pleasing a boss.

The money I don’t spend is saved, so that’s $400 I get to keep. The time is not waisted driving to and from work so it’s time I get to spend on things that are important to me. Lunch is always what I want from my own kitchen.

In times when things are hard everywhere. When jobs are hard to find anywhere. The very best investment you can make is in yourself. Take some time to weigh out all of the details and make sure that the “Good Job” is really going to be worth the things that it costs you to obtain and keep. Money and Time.

Online Business Opportunities, and a good job has a price to pay. If you pay the price then you can keep your job and your boss will continue giving you just enough to keep you. If you pay the price you can work from home and earn as much or more than you ever dreamed with a lot more time freedom.

A job is going to leave you tired at the end of the day. So far, I have never been physically tired after 3 hours of work online. A job keeps you away from your family for at least eight hours a day. Working at home means I can take a break to attend to family matters at any time I choose.
Jobs are hard to find? Income Opportunities are everywhere and yes they take work to succeed! Invest in your self and be the one who laughs at unemployment! Employee’s follow, Business owners lead. But, of course, not all can lead and not everyone wants to see the value in working from home.

Have a Great Day and be blessed!
