I Have Nothing To Sell.

It’s true. I have nothing to sell. Nor do I wish to sell you anything. I’m a musician not a salesperson. Creating music is my gig.
Playing my guitar is more important to me than learning some kind of “Guru” marketing technique. Really, who has time?

After all, I’ve got things that I’m passionate about and trying to convince you that you need something is going to cut into my Free time. Which I spend writing music.

What am I all about? I can sum it up with one word, “Love.”

  • Love causes me to have a desire to play music.
  • Love causes me to try and be the best I can be.
  • Love causes me to have compassion for those who are less fortunate than myself.

When you can spend quality time doing what you love doing, everything else will take care of itself. I am Blessed to have the ability to play music and bring joy to people.I enjoy seeing people smile.

What has being a musician brought me?
  1. Pain
  2. Heartbreak
  3. Loneliness
  4. And my money was always funny?

And then there are the mean things that happen after the show. The showbiz “Industry” can be, and is a cut throat industry. That’s the way it is in the REAL world. Strange things happen.

I speak from my heart when I say that, the only time I feel total freedom is when I’m playing my Strat. No problems, fears, anxieties, exist. Everything else kinda disappears, and is drowned out by the sounds God allows me to produce from my heart.

Since I was four years, old I always knew that I wanted to play music. I played, and the seed grew in a little Church. I tried “jobs” and I’ve had good one’s, and I’ve been fired. It seemed like the boss always wanted me to be there, when I wanted to be jamming? Go figure?

I learned early on how to sell my ability. Anytime I would start a project, like a band or a recording session, I had to sell the idea to my friends (prospects) that I wanted to jam with, or record with.

What do I have to sell you? Nothing. You already have enough money to do what you Love doing when you want to do it.

Guess what? To work on a record (CD) project takes money, time and a lot of energy. A “JOB” or trying to sell you anything my friend will only distract me from my true love. Playing the music I’ve written. Performing the music God allows me to hear in my Soul. Then, bring it to life!

My question to you is, “Are you doing what you love to do?”
